PAPI

Precision Approach Path Indicator was devised at the Royal Aircraft Establishment Bedford in 1974. Our PAPI system provides a constant pattern of light with changing colours to indicate a deviation from the correct approach slope for pilots.

Installing or converting to PAPI has the following advatanges over T-VASIS:

  • 60% reduction in power consumption;
  • 85% reduction in maintenance labour;
  • 85% reduction in spare part costs.
